The First Xbox Game Pass Additions of 2026 Reveal Xbox Remains Committed.

Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the Xbox brand. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Dedicated Xbox communities began covering on PS5 topics as a new development. 2025 was a period of total upheaval for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with compelling titles on its premier subscription.

The Immediate Additions

The two games you can play right now today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

On Jan. 13, the platform will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that deviates from conventional open-world tropes with a space-faring criminal escapade. Another big get is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."

Intriguing Niche Additions

However, the more modest titles set to join the catalog deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, becomes available next week — and it's worth experiencing regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in remarkably quickly.

Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the makers of Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

In summary, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent tentpole Microsoft studios games that justify the service by themselves. However, this batch of games are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of older titles you may have skipped and new-ish games that lacked the recognition they were due initially — transforming them into excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
